ABSTRACT

A major campaign of t e s t s aimed at i n v e s t i g a t i n g the influence of mix design parameters and compaction energy on the f a t i g u e behaviour of bituminous mixes was the occasion f o r a s p e c i a l e f f o r t t o increase the ca p a c i t y of the fat i g u e t e s t i n g systems while at the same time making the t e s t e a s i e r and l e s s expensive, and t h i s e f f o r t was suc c e s s f u l .
