ABSTRACT
The Civil Engineering industry under the ICE Conditions of Contract use a price adjustment formula (sometimes referred to as the Baxter formula named after the originator) on projects with a long construction period. This is based on fewer headings than the Building Cost indices and covers 11 categories.
