ABSTRACT
The primary purpose of an asphalt pavement is to support vehicles, may be the pavement is a four-lane freeway or a parking lot. The type and amount of vehicles has a significant impact on several of the variables that are used in designing and constructing an asphalt pavement. These variables include pavement thickness, material selection, and layout.
