ABSTRACT

In this paper, we report an alternative approach to the synthesis of monosized and parallel-aligned SWCNs in the 1 nm-sized channels of zeolite AlP0,-5 (Am) crystals, using pyrolysis of tripropylamine molecules. As the nanotubes are well aligned in the macro-sized AFI crystal, we can measure polarised Raman spectra and directly measure the conductivity for the nanotube sample, which provide us a lot of information on structural symmetry and electronic states.
