ABSTRACT
All geoprocessing applications need to cope with updated and good quality geographical databases in order to secure any urban planning decision. However, as updating the name of a new landowner is an easy operation in a land database, it is more difficult when one has to integrate spatial information, especially that coming from different multimedia sources. But before dealing in details with multisource updating, let us give some general information regarding quality control and quality assessment of spatial information.
