ABSTRACT
This paper is organized as follows: Section 2 briefly reviews the properties of the ESL. Sec. 3 describes some of the progress made in our laboratory. Sec. 4 contains conclusions. The characteristics of a new M-HID lamp system under development obtained up to the time of the LS-10 will be presented at the Symposium.
