ABSTRACT

The solution of the plasma model gives the heat fluxes at the anode/plasma interface. Using these heat fluxes, the anode model is solved. Like the cathode body model, the energy balance and current continuity equations are solved for the anode body model. Solution of this model determines the temperature distribution at the anode/plasma interface and this temperature distribution is used to begin the next round of iteration for solving the plasma equations. This iterative process continues until convergence for common boundary interfaces is achieved.
