Electron density measurements using soft X-ray laser interferometry

Abstract. A soft x-ray laser Mach-Zehnder interferometry is a precise and important way to diagnose the laser plasma electron density profiles. This paper gives an application demonstration of the diagnostics of laser plasma electron density profiles by using a soft x-ray laser Mach-Zehnder interferometry. The maximum density of 95% critical density for drive laser was measured.
