ABSTRACT

Abstract: The wave-front distortion of an intense femtosecond laser beam from our multi-TW laser facility was studied. By using an adaptive optics system to correct the wave-front distortion, beam quality with 1.5 diffraction limit was demonstrated. This result not only provides an intensity of 1019W/cm2, the spatially cleaned beam also prevent undesired effects from the energy deposited outside the central focal spot.
