ABSTRACT
Figure 5a) shows an image of the 12.5-|Lim mesh taken in a single exposure with the above setup. Due to the demagnification by the condensor mirror, only a few gridlines of the mesh are illuminated. The spatial resolution deduced from fitting Gaussian profiles to the rising edges of the scanned image is A ~ 1.2 |Lim in the vertical direction, essentially equal to the spatial resolution of the recording system.
