ABSTRACT
Lightweight concretes can be produced with a density range of approximately 300-2000kg/m3 , corresponding cube strengths from approximately 1 to over 60N/mm2 and thermal conductivities of 0.2 to l.OW/mK. These values can be compared with those for normal weight concrete of approximately 2100-2500kg/m3 , 15 to greater than 100N/mm2 and 1.6-1.9 W /m K.
