ABSTRACT

Most of us use a graphical user interface or GUI (pronounced “gooey”) every day. A computer’s operating system, such as MS Windows is, probably, the most popular example. The use of a GUIbased operating system allows for the simple point-and-click or point-and-double-click thus avoiding typing numerous commands and codes just to run a program. A GUI also includes what the user sees on the screen: windows, icons, and other interactive objects.
