ABSTRACT
Streaming has gained enormous popularity. It enables multimedia files to be broadcast over the Internet without requiring the viewer to download the file first, i.e., the media is played while it is being downloaded. Software plug-ins are run by Internet browsers to play media embedded in Web pages.
