ABSTRACT
Many schools and businesses routinely provide and often require computer network access for students and employees. It is generally understood that participants will use the access for intended educational or work-related purposes. However, human nature being what it is, misuse of time and equipment has become a growing concern. To address this problem, many networks have turned to the drafting of an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
