ABSTRACT

The preceding chapters have discussed the broad actions that a company should take to implement design for accessibility into its product design processes. Central to that is addressing the challenge of acquiring the necessary skills within the company and then making them available to the design and marketing teams at the appropriate time. The purpose of this chapter is to discuss how one company, IBM, is respond ing to this challenge. The aim here is not to promote this particular solution as the solution, simply to highlight one possible solution.
