Blue-emitting distyrylbenzene derivatives has also been chemically bonded to such flexible polymer chains as polystyrene [60,61] and polynorbomene [62], Using radical polymerization, it is possible to synthesize copolymers such as (39) con taining both blue-light-emitting chromophores and charge-transporting chromo phores as side chains [63,64], or even with a photo-cross-linkable blue lightemitting polymer (LEP) [65]; see Scheme 11.
