ABSTRACT
The contemporary concepts of restoration as a main tool often consider introduction into the polluted environment of factors capable of realizing detoxification. Such factors can be microorganisms or sorbents, but the use of sophisticated technologies may also be considered. Other prospective approaches include the use of substances that are inherently present in any environment and participate in many processes in the environment. Such substances are humic substances (HSs).
