ABSTRACT
It is a pleasure to recognize the career and contributions of Professor Darsh Wasan, especially when the opportunity arises when he is at such a tender age. It is always gratifying to see a young man succeed. Darsh edits the Journal o f Colloid and Interface Science, is a senior university executive, and maintains an active research program. Any one of these responsibilities would occupy the full attention of an average scientist. With his amazing energy and highly organized style, he is able to discharge all these responsibilities successfully. He is a human parallel computer. Even with these accomplishments, the attribute of Darsh that I admire most is that he is a considerate gentleman; interactions with him are always a pleasure.
