ABSTRACT
In these notes we freely use some structural properties of filtered and graded rings and modules; for a rather detailed treatment of these we refer to [86] and [71]. Here we just recall a few basic notions and properties, at the same time fixing notation and conventions. All rings considered are associative rings with unit, module will mean left module but ideal will mean two-sided ideal.
