ABSTRACT
A method is reported, in which preformed homogeneous catalysts are anchored on a support material that can successfully be applied in certain hydrogenation reactions. These so-called 'tethered' catalysts can be re-used several times with constant high activity and show high chemo-and, if chiral catalysts are applied, enantioselectivity.
