Develop order-of-magnitude and conceptual estimates from minimal information. Prepare, when necessary, semi-detailed estimates (for small projects) suitable for appropriation and/or further project control. Check estimates prepared by others. Analyze subcontractors' bids. Check the cost of proposed changes.
