Alignment of Project Goals It is vital that early in a project all members of the integrated team understand the project goals and that each drives to accomplish them. Without agreement as to the goals, the Project Manager may be driving toward fast completion. The Manufacturing Manager may be driving to a high degree of automation. The Venture Manager may be driving to lowest capital cost. Their individual goals may not be in harmony with the overall project goals. Get this straightened out early.
