ABSTRACT
For arbitrary differentials σ ,τ on a cell K there is a wide choice of conditions that may be used to define absolute con tinuity of r with respect to σ. We shall list some of these conditions and determine how they are related. Later we shall introduce restrictions on σ, r under which these conditions be come equivalent. All of these conditions on σ, r are conditions on |σ|, |τ|. So the term “absolute continuity” is appropriate.
