ABSTRACT
There is probably no single theoretical school in contemporary politicoeconomic discourse that does not endeavor to explain the postsocialist transition . Here the neoclassical , Keynesian, evolutionary, and institutional approaches are among the best known. Given this multiplicity of approaches, the need arises to evaluate them.
