ABSTRACT
The management of road traffic through the railway shuttle terminal on the UK side of the Tunnel is similar to that in France and is conveniently divided into three components:
• Tolls: the need not only to collect money from customers who simply tum up attolls, but also to check and process a wide range of 'authority to travel' documents such as prepaid tickets, special concession tickets for shareholders, cards and tickets for freight companies and others who have an account with Eurotunnel.
