ABSTRACT
A t present the state of stresses and deformations for layered pave ment structures is analysed on the basis of the static load of an unbounded system. The characteristic effects of dynamic loads on the equivalent plates on subgrade have been summarized in previous chapters. The object of this chapter is to draw attention to the differ ences between the dynamic response of bounded and unbounded pavement systems.
