ABSTRACT
The behaviour of polyacrylonitrile-fibre concrete has been explained in several papers, for instance, Refs 1, 6, 11, 16, 19. For its application in Germany, fibre concrete needs either an approval for an individual case (Zustimmung im Einzelfall) or a general qualification approval (allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung). If the general qualification approval is given, it is possible to use the material without delay for corresponding authorization. The approval for an individual case will be given only for one special application.
