ABSTRACT
The grillage/ribbed 'ORTHO' slab structure enables a variety of designs of floors, easy realization of openings of arbitrary sizes, as well as the construction of balcony cantilevers in all direction with effective solution of thermal problems. The design variability of 'ORTHO' floor slab is shown in Figure 2. In comparison with other types of floor slabs, this construction results in very good thermal, acoustic and fireproofing solutions.
