ABSTRACT
Figure 5.31 shows the result of a calculation using the Duhamel integral. The upper trace is a real record of wind speed, and this is converted to a force to represent F(t). The lower trace is the calculated response to this forcing function for a structure with a natural frequency of 1 Hz and 1 % damping.
