ABSTRACT
These recommendations are a supplement to EU-82, Steel-Tensile testing, and apply to single elements of steel to be used as reinforcement for concrete (excluding composite elements).
2.1 The tensile test is carried out on a test piece in the as-delivered condition. Where a special ageing or other treatment has to be carried out by agreement, this should be clearly stated in the report.
