ABSTRACT
These recommendations apply to high tensile strength steel products before use as elements in tendons for prestressed concrete work. These elements are: round wires, smooth or otherwise, strands, bars and occasionally cables made up of several of these elements. The recommendations are therefore only applicable to finished products (1), called in the following “steels for prestressing”.
