ABSTRACT
The tolerance is the deviation of the actual transverse section of the reinforcement with reference to the specified section. It is expressed as a percentage of this section.
For flat reinforcement or reinforcement of circular section profile with ribs the ratio of the width to the height and the thickness of the rib must be as constant as possible. In special practical cases, for example in the case of the anchorage of flat wires between two clamping plates, it is particularly important to guarantee the constancy in the form of the section. In such a case it is recommended that special agreements be made with the manufacturer.
