LUMB1 Compressive strength of small walls and prisms

This recommendation specifies a method of determining the compressive strength of small wall and pier specimens containing a representative selection of units and joints. The Young’s Modulus may be determined in parallel in accordance with the method given in LUM B.5. Guidance is given on the preparation of the specimens, the conditioning required before testing, the apparatus, the method of test, the method of calculation and the contents of the test report.
