ABSTRACT
This recommendation specifies a method of determining the local elastic properties and limiting compressive strength in built masonry by monitoring the state of strain between two flat jacks. Guidance is given on the principles involved, the preparation for the test, the apparatus, the method of test, the method of calculation and the contents of the test report.
