Fig. 1.—Apparatus for determination of resistance of mortar to deformation. The apparatus is designed for a maximum force of 50 N and a maximum length change of 50 mm of the long diagonal. Expediently, however, the maximum force applied during the test should not exceed 25 N or the maximum deformation 40 mm.
