Obviously a subsystem may not necessarily be a physically distinguishable unit. On the contrary, parts of one single subsystem may be physically incorporated into more than one single unit (for instance, measuring transducers or servo valves may be fitted to the reaction structure though belonging to the measuring devices or the control subsystem respectively).
