4.5 DETERMINATION OF MOISTURE CONTENT AT TESTING After loading, the specimens are placed on trays of known mass and each mass is again determined, whereafter the trays are placed in an oven at 105 ±5°C until constant mass is attained. The error in mass measurement must not exceed 0.1% of the mass of a specimen. The mass of each specimen is considered constant if the mass after 4h of further drying has not changed by more than 0.2%.
