ABSTRACT
Results of research on small cover Fibre Pretensioned Concrete (FPC) and Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC) elements are reported. Investigated are producibility, splitting due to pretensioning and to temperature and force deflection behaviour of both pretensioned and reinforced specimens. It is concluded that technically an expancel coated Arapree bar can be competitive to steel in pretensioned concrete. Other types of Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) investigated turned out to be worse.
