Abstract Shear behavior of concrete beam reinforced by FRP rods was experimentally examined. In particular, the contribution of FRP stirrups was studied in terms of the strain of

stirrups, shear crack opening and shear deformation. Taking the influential parameters into account, the test results were analyzed and the stirrup contribution was formulated. Keywords: Shear behavior, FRP rods, stirrup, strain, shear deformation.
