ABSTRACT
Abstract The results of research in chemical resistance of mineral and chemical fibers (most often used to make non-metallic reinforcement), as well as physico-chemical, mechanical and corrosion-resisting properties of non-metallic reinforcing bars on the basis of glass and basalt fibers are presented. The effects of fiber finishing oils on the reinforcement corrosion resistance are shown. Examples of using nonmetallic reinforcement in bridge structures are given.
