ABSTRACT

From the test results of tensile strength of FRP rods on which accelerated tests were performed in alkaline solution, it was observed that the tensile strength of GFRP rods was decreased whereas the tensile strength of AFRP and CFRP rods did not show decreasing effect. Then the deterioration of tensile strength of GFRP rods was simulated quantitatively using Fick's first law.
