ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT. Nuclear power plants V-l and V-2 at Jaslovské Bohunice produce approximately 50 % of electricity consumed in Slovakia. The shutdown of NP V-l is supposed after the completion of NP at Mochovce, where western standard security and control systems have to be utilised in order to decrease the general hazard, and after a very important factor - the repay of foreign credits. In meantime the so called "large reconstruction" on V-l has to be done with respect to recommendations and requirements of INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY AGENCY. Authors present the basic expert structural analysis of structures designed within the progress of preparation of large reconstruction.
