ABSTRACT

Abstract This contribution describes the rehabilitation of old cement concrete roads. Before deciding how to repair the roads, different solutions were tested on short test sections. Depending on bedding o f slabs and heavy-duty traffic volume different types of unbounded and bituminous courses were used. The development o f reflective cracks over the transverse joints was observed and recorded. The evaluations o f the tests showed relevant information for the future work.
