ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper describes the numerical modelling of composite connection and non-sway composite frames. To develop a reliable FE model it is essential to extensively verifY it against appropriate test results; once a suitable model is developed it can then be used as an alternative to further testing. Some idea is therefore given of the validation studies and the new insights gained by supplementing the original test data with numerical results.
