ABSTRACT
The measurement of the corrosion activity of steel actually occurring in a given concrete is an important tool in assessing the present and future performance of reinforced concrete structures exposed to corrosive environments. In addition, such measurements are extensively used in laboratories in the development of building codes and new corrosion protection systems.
