ABSTRACT
Essentially, there are two types of wall formwork. One type is for walls requiring only one face of formwork. Examples of this group are walls for the basements of buildings, rectangular tunnels, tanks in the ground and formwork for mass concrete dams. (Figure 4.01) the methods by which the forces on these forms are catered for are discussed in the last topic in this Chapter.
