ABSTRACT
In a typical reinforced concrete building frame, the slabs, which are formed with the soffit forms described in the previous chapter, are the primary load carrying element. They transfer their load to secondary elements, such as walls or beams. This chapter is concerned with the second example, the forming of beams.
