ABSTRACT
Once the methods have been decided and the planning has been completed for all work up to and including the structure and roofing-in, the concept and approach for the remaining activities take a somewhat different path. Instead of relatively few clear cut items, the planning has to deal with a growing number of trades and specialist services. The main or management contractor's influence declines in relation to methods, his function now being more related to the following matters.
