ABSTRACT

The previous chapter reached the stage where construction methods, having been evaluated, were translated into specific plant and labour to create time/cost information. In turn, the resulting time elements were able to be analysed and integrated into a tender programme. Given that the tender is accepted, the planning now requires re-examination in relation to any additional information available and whether, in the light of such information, any changes will result in relation to the methods to be adopted. With such a re-examination the needs of the site in relation to planning control documents can also be established.
