ABSTRACT

Introduction The importance of the human driver as the operational crux of a tightly coupled operator-machine system is central to the design cycle in the automotive industry. This industry is currently on the verge of adding new technologies to the vehicle cockpit and re-inventing new technologies to replace old functional facilities.
